Richard
Paul's Biography
PAST:
At
the precocious age of 11, Richard taught himself the art of ventriloquism.
At 12, he began to sharpen his performance skill by producing and
marketing a weekly neighborhood ventriloquist show in his parents
garage, charging ten cents to get in and twenty five cents to get
out. One time he promised one free guppy to all that came
to his show. On one occasion he ran out of guppies and a mother
threatened to sue Richard if he didn’t cough up a guppy.
Richard
no longer needs to give away guppies to bring in an audience because
he has been making people laugh for a living for over twenty-five
years. He has dazzle thousands at festivals, fairs, corporate and
private events with his unprecedented style of ventriloquism and
outrageous humor. He recently performed in Tokyo, Japan,
Harrah’s and the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas and has also appeared
on ABC’s Good Morning America and Fox 2 Morning Addition.
Richard has worked with many great entertainers like KC and The
Sunshine Band, The Contours, Danny and the Juniors, The Reflections
and Garfield.
PRESENT:
He is an active
member of the International Ventriloquist Association, North American
Association of Ventriloquist and has received an honorary membership
in the Japanese Ventriloquist Association. He is also a member of
the National Speakers Association and on the board of directors
of The National Speakers Association Michigan Chapter as well as
Very Special Arts Michigan/Macomb Chapter.
He
is award-winning author, presenter and has recently he has been
named best ventriloquist - in his family…
FUTURE:
Richard’s plan for the future is to continue to promote
laughter while at the same time breathing live to what some say
is a lost art. (The Art of Ventriloquism)
Richard’s
goal is to continue to mentor future ventriloquist through his entertaining/educational
ventriloquist training video and booklet.
This humorous off the wall out of the ordinary program shares the
secrets of how to become a ventriloquist.
