Sailing Through Life

Here is a funny self-determination program that fits in well with special education transition seminars, workshops and conferences.  As a keynote speaker and educational trainer, Richard motivates the students to laugh and learn that the choices they are making today will reflect who and what they will become. 

Attendees will be given humorous examples and a simple template to fill in to where they can begin to appreciate their accomplishments and plan for their future. With the help of a few ventriloquist friends and participants from the audience, Richard will lightheartedly explain the importance of creating a mission statement, setting short term/long term goals and offer up suggestions that when implemented will launch them off in a new direction. They will be encouraged to work with their mentors to plan and set a new course action that will help them through the rough waters of life and bring about an ocean of ideas and opportunities.
