What educators say

“Sometimes we bring in a school assembly program that isn't worth what we paid them. YOU WERE WORTH IT!”

Bernie Felabee, PrincipalRaupp Elementary, Detroit, Michigan

“Thanks — everyone loved you. Let's keep in touch, and I am sure we can have you back again. Times are challenging, and those of you who put joy out into the world are needed more than ever.”

Why schools rebook him

A trained bully prevention specialist, not just a performer

For more than thirty-five years, Richard Paul has brought research-based anti-bullying and safe schools programs to elementary and middle schools, promoting respect, responsibility and a climate students can feel. Each program works within the guidelines of most schools' positive behavior support goals.

His training draws on the work of Dan Olweus, Barbara Coloroso, Stan Davis, Margaret R. Kojut, MSW, Cheryl Dellasega, PhD, and Charisse Nixon, PhD. He receives ongoing training through the Macomb County and Oakland County Intermediate School District Bully Free Schools workshops, and continues to network with school social workers, counselors and prevention advocates worldwide.

Richard is also a sought-after speaker for teacher in-services, parent nights and anti-bullying conferences, with one goal: send staff and families home with tools they can use Monday morning.

He has presented in schools across Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
